Stopped by with my traveling buddy for lunch as this was one of the higher rated places in the area. A little off downtown from where my friend I were staying with his mate but not an issue. the server, Kyle was a superstar. He was genuinely happy to be working and answered my questions and gave recommendations on food options. Food portions were not over filling and it was certainly tasty. They source for ingredients around the neighboring states and it was not oily or too fattening. If you are lucky to get Kyle as your server, he’s definitely going to make your day!
We were passing through Bham on a long drive and wanted to break up the drive with a relaxing stop. So glad we selected the Frothy Monkey. We started with a Havanna Latte, Monkey Mocha, Golden Monkey Latte and the biscuit board. The gouda grits drew me in and were amazing. Our group also had the farmhouse breakfast and omelet. All items were fresh and delicious.
I love Frothy Monkey for brunch. It’s a decent size so plenty of tables with a menu that’s not too big or large. The food is great and venue clean. I’ve never had a bad experience here so far. It’s definitely a girls brunch type or place rather than a homey breakfast but fits the area well.
Coffee, cocktails, food, and a welcoming vibe for us laptop warriors? SOLD! I was visiting from out of town and searching for a spot to get some work done after 4pm—when most nearby coffee shops had already closed. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this gem. Frothy Monkey was the perfect find. They let me settle in for a few hours, and while I had already eaten, the food coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. I ordered a few espresso martinis (highly recommend!) and grabbed a veggie plate to go. This place gives off Sunday Funday energy every day of the week. If you’re in town, it’s an absolute must-visit!
I had my baby shower at frothy monkey and it was ABSOLUTELY perfect!! I had great communication with the general manager, Tatem, from start to finish. She provided the menus and helped make the process so easy. We used the whole space to the right of the restaurant when you walk in. It accommodated us and our 30 guests perfectly! They helped us set up the decorations, get the food out, and were all so kind!! The staff at the venue who took care of us was Isaiah, Sophia, Lee, and Bailey. All my friends and family loved the food, drinks, and we all had the best baby shower! If you’re looking to have an event I highly recommend checking them out for an event. The prices are great and you won’t find better staff to help make your event come true!
I’m from New York and on the way to the airport, I wanted to find a nice brunch spot somewhere near. I saw the reviews and pictures of this place and thought it would be a great place to try. The moment I come in, I already love the vibe of this place. Not only that but our server was very nice and friendly. We got the Farm Breakfast, Smash Burger, and the Royale Sandwich as our mains, along with the gluten-free blueberry muffin. And let me tell you they were absolutely delicious!! We also ordered a Matcha Latte with oat milk and the Golden Monkey Latte, and the drinks were phenomenal. They were so concentrated and the flavours were so rich, it made me love Matcha. Overall as a person who just was looking for something light to eat on the way back home, this was amazing! Anyone near this area must try this place out! I definitely recommend getting the dishes we got but if you wanna try something else I’m probably sure it won’t disappoint. If I am ever back in town I will definitely be coming back!
Our coffees and meals were excellent! I recommend trying Frothy's homemade drink syrups. Our servers were pleasant and relatively prompt, although we would have ordered more if they had checked on us more often. The atmosphere was inviting and clean. Bring a cushion if, like me, you have a bony rear end.
First experience was fantastic. Not too long of a wait on a Sunday. We gave ourselves plenty of time before seeing Wicked at BJCC concert hall, which was less than 5 minutes away. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Food and coffees were delicious. I tried the Golden Monkey Latte w/ oat milk. My daughter and I shared an order of Vanilla Cinnamon French toast and the Farm Breakfast so we got a little bit of everything. It was the perfect amount of food. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.
Nice cozy space. I really liked the french toast and my wife loved the salmon salad. The French toast was soft, fluffy, and the apple toppings added a nice touch to it. The danish wasn't my taste specifically, but I am sure others would love it.
Swung by for some breakfast and it was awesome! Got the rosemary honey latte and Capri sandwich. Latte was SO GOOD. I wish i had gotten the person at the registers name, as she recommended all of what I got and it was a great call. Perfect grab and go, very filling! Adorable establishment. Very welcoming and bright feeling. Loved.
